The adventure started in Pallet Town; Oak brought me down
And gave me my first (though my rival thought it was the worst.)
I won the Boulder Badge, Pewter City's Brock gives.
Misty's a tough maid, but I won the Cascade.
Thunder Badge was won when Surge went down;
Then Erika awarded me the Rainbow, and so
Four-down-four-to-go I went to Saffron City Gym,
where a battle with Sabrina made the Marsh Badge mine.
Then I went to Fuchsia, fighting Koga for the Soul Badge and
down he went.
Blaine by Water, Rock and Ground was stumped, beaten, thrashed,
So I got the Volcano. But then,
Uh oh, Rocket foe, Giovanni, back again,
but I'm okay, strong enough, smart enough,
I beat the last Gym; but it's just a prelim, dummy,
For the challenge up at Indigo Plataeu. So,
Now I begin the training for my last fight, buildin' might,
feeling pretty psyched.
